Today was an exciting day for me! A team member of mine, Maricar H., was in town this week visiting her grandmother in the hospital and we decided to hook up and meet for the very first time over coffee at Starbucks. How fun!I had such a great time chatting away with Maricar...she is so much fun! She shared with me about her family and we talked in general about just everyday life. I also made sure to get a picture of us taken by a Starbucks employee so that we could document our time together.
Thank you so much for making time out of your tight schedule for us to get together Maricar! I had a fabulous time meeting you and I hope you did too! I hope you enjoyed the cupcakes I brought you as well. Aren't they YUMMY!! :)

I had a great time too -- and loved how we seemed to just "click". I doubt anyone at Starbucks would have guessed we were meeting for the first time. The cupcakes were delicious and were quite the treat. My favorite was the red velvet. Mmm ... yummy!
