Its on like Donkey Kong!

An update for:
Monday, January 5th, 2009

Dear Blog Journal,
Its back on like Donkey Kong, baby! ;)

As you can probably tell I took the last several days off from recording my fitness and nutrition progress. Lets just say that I wasn't 100% good in the nutritional choices I made (i.e. Fondue, Cupcakes, Sushi, Martinis & other appetizers, etc. - LOL!). I did eat some good meals in between all the snacking, so that's good right? AND - I did, at least, make it to all of my scheduled workouts at the gym. *whew* Very important in my opinion. :)

Today was the day that I decided to get re-serious about my food intake, though, so that I can move forward and lose the rest of the weight I want to lose by April 15th. I didn't head into the gym today because there were so many things going on this morning, so I guess we'll see how things go at the end of the week where I've piled on my first ever 3-in-a-row workout schedule...eek! I hope it doesn't kick my butt too badly!

The other thing that I'm debating on doing is entering a contest that my friend thinks I should enter. Now its just a matter of getting me to just give in and go for it. LOL Basically, the deal is that I enter the contest, document my weight-loss, muscle gains, and nutritional progress, and basically have a chance to win $25,000. Wow! The part that is holding me back is showing off my hideous before pictures...LOL! We'll see, though...we'll see. :)

My food intake today:
Breakfast: 1/4 cup Oatmeal with 1 pk. Kashi hot cereal w/ 1 scoop Glutamine & 3/4 scoop Max Pro Vanilla, 1 oz Max Ultra 100 Vitamins
Snack:
Lunch: 2 Original Chicken Tacos from Baja Fresh
Other: 4 oz MonaVie
Snack: "Hot Chocolate" Max Gourmet with Glutamine
Dinner: 1 Serving Chicken Rigatoni Pasta
Snack: 100 Calorie Snack pack
Water intake: Approximately 50 oz

Determined to look fine in 2009 -
