Recipe: Marinated Tuna Steak

Marinated Tuna Steak
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 6-8 minutes
Serves: 4

1/4 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
2 T. Olive Oil
1 T. Lemon Juice
2 T. chopped Fresh Parsley
1 Clove Garlic, minced
1/2 t. chopped Fresh Oregano
1/2 t. Ground Black Pepper
4 (4 oz.) Tuna Steaks

In a large dish, mix together the Orange Juice, Soy Sauce, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice, Parsley, Garlic, Oregano, and Pepper. Place the tuna steaks in the marinade and turn to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook the Tuna Steaks for 3-4 minutes, then turn and baste with the marinade. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or to desired doneness. Discard any remaining marinade.

My Comments: This was the first time we've ever made Tuna Steaks and we were very pleased with how they turned out. Moist and done on the outside, pink and tender on the inside...and oh so yummy! We will definitely be making this again! Oh, and the perfect cooking time was about 3 minutes on each side. :)
